Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary’s Fundraising & Events Committee has prepared the following community activities for the month of October. These events will be in english, at the Holy Rosary Church. Saturday October 7th, 7:00 pm – Rosary Prayer Meeting All are welcome, even if you’ve never prayed the Rosary before! Prayer is followed by discussion about the Mysteries of the life of Christ, and the power of prayer in our lives. Prayer intentions can be sent to HolyRosaryEvents@hotmail.com, we will pray for you at our next meeting!

Saturday October 14th, 12:00 p.m. – Annual Rosary Rally Each year, Canada Needs Our Lady holds the Public Square Rosary Crusade, with Rosary Rallies in cities all across the country. In 2022, there were 774! These yearly Public Square Rosary Rallies take place on the Saturday closest to Oct. 13th, feast of the last apparition of Our Lady of Fatima and the Miracle of the Sun. Saturday October 21st, 9:30 am – Children’s Adoration Hour Join us in prayer and community to adore our Lord, in an environment where silence and stillness are NOT expected!!! Games, scripture, colouring, storytelling, and song are on the menu for parents and their little ones in this special hour in Our Lord’s Presence!  This event is prepared for children 4 to 7; older and younger siblings are welcome! 

Sunday October 22nd, after Mass – Community Meet and Greet Rushing home after Mass to get lunch on? Have lunch with us instead! Join us for a community luncheon prepared by our events committee. Get to know your Parish community around a coffee and a snack!  Please speak to Shanel or Jessica if you would like to contribute to the food table! 

Friday October 27th,7:00 p.m. – Children’s Movie Night Children’s Movie Nights are back! This month we’ll be viewing “Coco ” from Disney-Pixar. Popcorn, juice boxes and water bottles will be provided! This event is free, though voluntary donations are always welcome!
