Epiphany (falling this year on January 7th; traditionally on January 6th), the feast remembering the visit of the three Magi to the Christ Child, and the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas, is fast approaching; the Christmas season is coming to a close.
On this day it is traditional to bless one’s home with blessed chalk above the main entryway to the home, called Chalking the Door.
This year, blessed chalk with leaflets explaining the blessing will be available at Holy Rosary Church on December 31st and January 7th, after Mass.
Share your faith with your community! Post a picture of your chalked door to social media with the hashtag #CathoMascouche or #HolyRosaryMascouche!
