Youth Faith Formation (First Holy Communion & Confirmation)

Catechism Classes are offered to children grade 3 and up for First Reconciliation and Communion, and grade 6 and up for Confirmation.

Pre-registration for the 2025-2026 pastoral year is CLOSED. We will not be accepting any more students in the First Communion and Confirmation programs this year.

For more information or to join our wait list for the 2026-27 Pastoral year, please contact our program coordinator, Jessica Brown at: FaithFormation.OLHR@hotmail.com or (450) 474-2413 ext. 809

Baptism

To register a child for baptism, we require a copy of their birth certificate or attestation, as well as a copy of the Confirmation certificates of the child’s chosen godmother and godfather. There is at least one baptismal ceremony every month; the date will be confirmed with you upon registration.

Confession

Please contact us to make an appointment with a priest.

Marriage

Contact us at least a year in advance to reserve the date. The bride and groom must provide an original baptismal certificate not older than six months and a copy of your birth certificates when meeting with the priest. A marriage preparation session and deposit to reserve the date are required.

Funerals

Contact us as soon as possible to ensure that a priest will be available for the funeral. Please note that there are no funerals on Sunday. A meeting with the family and the celebrating priest is desirable.

Adult Confirmation

If you are aged 18 and over and wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, whether out of desire to complete your Christian initiation, recieve the Sacrament of Marriage or to become a Godparent, we are here to help. You must provide you original baptismal and birth certificates, and attend about ten meetings with a volunteer catechist. Costs will be discussed upon registration.

Adult Baptism

Anyone who wishes to adhere to the Catholic Faith can request baptism. Contact us to make an appointment with our pastoral worker or a priest who will guide you towards this sacrament.

Contact us to register, or for more information.

We are always happy to answer your questions.
