We wanted to start off by thanking everyone who participated in our Christmas fundraisers: the “A Holy Rosary Christmas“ benefit concert, and our Christmas Log fundraising campaign. Together these two campaigns raised over $2700 for our parish. These funds not only allow us to “keep the lights on”, but also help us to make necessary repairs to the church, and continue to offer free activities for the community, such as the Meet & Greet and the Children’s Movie Night! Thank you for supporting your Parish!
Love is in the air! ❤️ Sunday February 11th at 11:00 a.m. Holy Rosary will celebrate a very special Mass dedicated to our community’s married couples! As we’ve been saying in the announcements at the end of Mass, if it weren’t for our married couples, our parish wouldn’t be blessed with over 160 children in catechism this year! We will have a special PowerPoint presentation featuring our married couples, and each will be called up to have their Marriage blessed by our Deacon, Pierre. A photographer will be on hand to capture the special moment, and each couple will receive a sweet treat!

Lent is coming: get your Ash in church! This year Ash Wednesday (which marks the beginning of the season of Lent) falls on February 14th. Ash Wednesday Mass will be held at St Henri Church at 7:00 p.m.
Did you know that the Ashes are made from blessed palms that had been distributed on Palm Sunday of the previous year? Bring your dried palms to Holy Rosary church by Sunday February 11th, and we will bring them to St Henri to be burned to Ash.
Our regular monthly activities are scheduled as follows:
- Saturday February 3rd, 7:00 pm – Rosary Prayer Meeting All are welcome, even if you’ve never prayed the Rosary before! Prayer is followed by discussion about the Mysteries of the life of Christ, and the power of prayer in our lives.
- Saturday February 17th, 9:30 am – Children’s Adoration Hour Join us in prayer and community to adore our Lord, in an environment where silence and stillness are NOT expected!!! Games, scripture, colouring, storytelling, and song are on the menu for parents and their little ones in this special hour in Our Lord’s Presence! This event is prepared for children 4 to 7; older and younger siblings are welcome!
- Sunday February 18th, after Mass – Community Meet and Greet Get to know your Parish community around a coffee and a snack! Please speak to Shanel or Jessica if you would like to contribute to the food table!
